About Me.
Photography first imbedded itself in my heart in early 1999. Studying senior year, Photography was the subject of passion. A moment frozen in time. Life took over and although I continued to work in creative fields, photography took a back seat to family and employment commitments,, When one of my children showed a keen interest in photography, I offered to help.... after going along to workshops, conferences and further education classes, passion was reignited and Mindlee Photography was born as a Brisbane based natural light studio and enjoyed many successes. Now based in Townsville, I have attained top 10% and top 20% in the world wide shoot proof competition 2 years running, My work has been published in Brand Model Magazine and I have participated in many community based collaboration projects. I travel regularly back to Brisbane to keep my skills updated with natural light photography workshops. Im a mum of 5, a social work student and have a soft spot for foster children, having been a kinship carer myself.
I have a passion specifically for creative portraits that bring out each individuals unique qualities and personality using 'different' mediums, you will find glitter portraits, luxury coconut milk baths, neon lighting and other unique mediums within my portfolio.
